About the Mespies

The Mespies are an annual celebration of independent film and the people who make them. Films are selected based on innovation, cinematic courage, and demonstrated ambition.

Hosted by Cineapolis, the premier film studio of Minneapolis-St. Paul, the Mespies bring a wide range of powerful independent films to the historic Heights Theater.
